Well written. I no longer subscribe to the NYT but noticed that Peter B. was spewing more vitriol for his deluded followers today and just looked away. So appreciate reading this now. Thanks for putting these (not to mention Bernie) in a context that helps me better understand their betrayal. Needed it.

A wonderful evaluation connecting our biblical past and current so called “celebs!”

Always can count on R Goldberg for keen insight!

I know that, for many Jews, it is difficult for a member of the Tribe to call out others who are acting in ways that ultimately threaten the nation and the people within it, as well as in the Diaspora. And, as a Christian Zionist with a deep love for Israel and the Chosen People, I have long been grieved to see what you have described.

Though heartbreaking and maddening, I understand many of the reasons other than ‘cowardice’ that might motivate such Jews to act, perhaps unconsciously, in ways that harm, and discourage those who form the true strength of Israel.

But, particularly since October 7, I have been encouraged to see more and more Jews speaking out against other members of the Tribes who have given, or are giving, ‘comfort to the enemies of Israel’, and adding fuel to the fires of antisemitism.

It is intriguing to witness how the horrific events of October 7th and the conflicts following have served to expose so much global evil and moral corruption that was largely hidden in plain sight before. It has become ever more glaringly apparent that, within the gentile world, a large percentage of the elite class (tragically including many Jews), has likewise been actively serving to undermine the Judeo-Christian moral and ethical foundations of their respective societies.

BUT (Behold the Underlying Truth), G-d…

But, G-d is at work within the world, restraining, thwarting, and revealing the foolishness, insanity, and evil that is so strongly threatening our world, to wake up those who have been daydreaming, fantasizing, or slumbering their way through life.

And He is calling people all over the world to turn to Him for salvation, guidance, strength, and victory over the dark forces that threaten us all, but which are ultimately focused on destroying His Chosen People, and eliminating Israel.

In this process, there will be ‘victories’ and many reasons to praise and thank G-d. However, we will also witness many setbacks; many things that could discourage us. And, each day, we will all be forced to choose, as the people of Israel did so long ago, ‘who you (we) will serve’. (Deuteronomy 6:1-9 & Joshua 24:15)

May we who love G-d and are called by Him to walk in humble obedience to His Word, always choose well!

Am Israel Chai!

I understand the ignorance of the secular Jews. What I cannot understand is Orthodox Jews, who should know their Torah and Tanakh, giving aid and comfort to the enemies of Israel. These groups, like Neturei Karta, should absolutely be placed in cherem. Nor do I have warm feelings for other anti-Zionist factions.

Looking around the various Jewish communal websites, I see very few have statements of support for Israel. Many more are celebrating "pride" (meaning perversion) month. Nuts.
