Israel never needed a protector. The Six Day War proved that. Unfortunately, Israel longs for peace and normalcy so desperately, they ignore clear threats. They weren’t seeing clearly before October 7. Hopefully the fog has lifted, and Israel will once again act independently, and decisively.
The B-52s could be retrofitted for the MOP in question. But its the B-2s that are optimized for the delivery of the bunker busters. I can only hazard a guess but I think that Israel, which has trained to take over and get inside Fordo, will actually ask for the help if they need. If Israel does the job itself, it enhances its standing even more. And having the threat of US involvement combined with a steady stream of Trump's calculated maybe yes, maybe just heigthens the panic levels.
Bob, what I don’t understand is this. If Trump is the backer of Israel that he says he is, why won’t he let Israel buy the bunker busting bombs and use the B-52s that the U.S. possesses to finish the job? His latest rhetoric seems to want to “ save the ayatollahs.” Can you elaborate on this? Am Yisrael Chai.
Please stop with the “we did this alone” ethos. Israel assumed the risk by itself-yes. The bravery and courage of her military and people are on full display.
But please give credit. Who built the F-35? Who operates the THAD missile batteries? Whose ships are stationed nearby to help protect from incoming missiles?
Please give credit where credit is due. Your welcome.
May the death and destruction come to a swift end.
Thanks!

And the usual suspects have fallen in love with the Islamist goon squad of Iran. The psychopathic mullahs.
Excellent. All that was missing was a citation for a poll showing support for Israel and President Trump. Perhaps this is the poll in question: https://freebeacon.com/trump-administration/poll-finds-overwhelming-support-for-israeli-strikes-and-for-trumps-response-among-maga-base/
This would completely undermine the narrative of Tucker Qatarlson, Thomas Massie, and their band. Further discussion: https://surak.substack.com/p/israel-is-fighting-americas-war
Another poll in support of Trump vs. Iran: https://nypost.com/2025/06/18/us-news/maga-voters-overwhelmingly-support-us-strikes-on-iranian-military-poll/

I would prefer Israel acted alone because if America gets involved in any significant way there could be backlash against Israel among Americans.
Powerful piece by Bob Goldberg at The New Zionist Times.
Magnificent, Bob!
